On May 29th, Vice Minister of Commerce Li Fei and Minister of Planning and Investment Kan Jian of Laos jointly chaired the 11th meeting of the China Laos Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation Committee in Beijing, with representatives from relevant departments of the two countries and the Lao Embassy in China attending the meeting. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on strengthening cooperation in areas such as trade and investment, connectivity, energy and minerals, and people's livelihoods, as well as multilateral and regional cooperation, in order to implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries in the field of economic and trade.
